The Conclave is jointly being organized by Muslim Educational, Social and Cultural Organization, (MESCO), Hyderabad and All India Educational Movement (AIEM), Delhi, in association with different educational and social organizations of Hyderabad and from different cities and states across India.

The Conclave will be inaugurated by Telangana Minister for All Welfare & Minorities Department. The guests of honour in the inaugural function will include: Consul General of Islamic Republic of Iran Haghbin Ghoomi, Minority Affairs Advisor to Government of Telangana A. K. Khan IPS (Retd.), Rector of Azam Campus, Pune, P.A. Inaamdar and K. M. Arifuddin, secretary Madina Group.

According to MESCO secretary and chairman of the Organizing Committee Dr. Fakhruddin Mohammed, “the conference will be a platform for inter-disciplinary discussions including school education and skill development, open learning prospects for Dropouts through National Institute of Open School and Indira Gandhi National Open University, awareness and enrolment of Muslims in higher educational institutions, progress through Technology, Research and Industry, and imbibing moral education and values in the coming generations.”

This is the first time in India so many organizations from different verticals are gathering on one platform. A diversity of topics including from modern education in seminaries and moral education in modern institutions to artificial intelligence and science and technology will focus on community empowerment while exploring new vistas. Challenges faced by Muslim women including securing their future while striking a balance with the family will also be discussed.

The reason of Muslim backwardness is lack of educational facilities or opportunities. Because of economic conditions, the school dropout rate is high. The conclave will also focus on helping these drop outs continue their education through open schooling facility at the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) and Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU).

The 4-day event will have expert speakers, eminent educationists, academicians, intellectuals, social welfare activists and diplomats including Telangana Home Minister Mr. Mahmood Ali, Commissioner, ESD IT Electronics and Communication Department Mr. G.T. He added that MESCO Convention Centre will be rechristened as Dr. Hyder Khan Auditorium after the name of eminent cardiologist, Founder-President of MESCO and Convenor of the IDB Central Panel for India (Jeddah).”

The Muslim community has great potential that is untapped and undiscovered due to underutilization of educational institutions. The Conclave is aimed at changing this situation. The session on Science and Technology and Artificial Intelligence that will be held at Sultan-ul-Uloom Education Society, (SUES), is an important pointer in that direction.
