In response to the fake message circulation on social media with regards to Ikhlas tours doing fraud and ran away with the money of the Haji’s, Shahrukh Sultan Owner of Ikhlas tours, refuted the allegation and provided proof to support his stand to media personnel at the press conference.
Mumbai: Mumbai based Ikhlas tours, which is into hajj and Umrah business since last 10 years recently became victim of false news through social media.
Rumours were doing the rounds on social media that Ikhlas tours is closed and the promoters are on the run with the hard earned money of people who have booked their service to perform Hajj this year.
While it is true that due to some unavoidable circumstances hajj visas of Ikhlas tours did not got stamped and hence people who have paid them in full to perform hajj this year could not go for the same, but according to one haji who has booked hajj tour through Ikhlas, Qari Mohammed Zubair, a deputy Imam of Kurla Takiyawad Jama Masjid Kurla said it is baseless that the promoters of Ikhlas tours are cheating upon or are fraudsters.
Qari Mohammed Zubair Further said, “When I came to know about it from people, I did not believed it and went to the office and found that the staff and the promoters were there present in the office. They showed us the legal documents the preparation for hajj 2018 and the reason why the visa of hajji’s could not get stamped.
Aziz Ahmed Khan from Kalamboli another person who booked hajj seat through Ikhlas and cannot go to perform said, “ after getting this news we went to meet the promoter, we were 7 in the group out of which 2 received the payment in full and the rest of us have plan to go hajj next year through Ikhlas.”
“Hajj is one of the important pillars of Islam and many save it for years together so that they can perform Hajj, the visa issue which happened was not in our control, but we are clear. We are returning the money to people who want it back or will take them to Hajj next year with all the necessary precaution with regards to documentation, said “Shahrukh Sultan, promoter Ikhlas tours”.
“Time and again we keep reading about the hajj and umrah fraud but at Ikhlas we are committed to serve and have earned a name in this filed since last 10 years. To safe guard the interest and our brand image we have filed a police compliant at cyber cell, we are not running nor we are closing the business, we are here to offer the best to Haji’s whom we cannot serve this year due to unavoidable circumstances, said Shahrukh Sultan”.
