Bhopal, Aug 12: Stage is all set for the “Aman March” (Peace march) to be organised here on August 13th by the Madhya Pradesh unit of Jamiat Ulma-i-Hind, (JUH) along the rest of the country.

Addressing a Press conference here Haji Mohammad Haroon said that the virus of communalism, which is spreading like wild fire across the country, is more dangerous than terrorism. It should be contained forthwith with all our might and resources before the raging fire of hatred propelled by anti-national forces engulfs the entire nation leading to disastrous consequences, he added.

The “Aman March” in Bhopal will start from Imami Gate and culminate at historical Iqbal Maidan where a pubic meeting is likely to be held. Haji Haroon has appealed members of all communities namely Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists etc. to participate in the “Aman March” to make it a big success. Thus, those forces which are enemy of communal harmony, peace and tranquillity and do not believe in Unity in Diversity are demoralised and stopped in their tracks.

Meanwhile, the decision to hold the “Aman March” all across the nation on 13th August was taken by the National executive committee of JUH in its meeting on July 25th last at New Delhi. The JUH took this decision to respond positively and in a constructive manner to the atmosphere of hate.

Jamiat National General Secretary Maulana Mahmood Madani had briefed media after the meeting saying that Jamiat was the largest Muslim organization having branches to the block level in the most of the states, so this “Aman march” shall have great effect and shall be instrumental in sending out message of peace.
